I jumped up and started to swim in the air

Closed my eyes so I wouldn’t look down

I kicked my legs, moved my arms all around

But I couldn’t get more than five feet off the ground

Try as I might I couldn’t gain any height

Flapping my arms frantically

To all it was quite plain to see

The flying was such a disaster

If I could become invisible

But sneaking around without being seen

At embarrassing moments I just reappeared.
